Free AI resume builders and tailoring tools that are actually free
Checked October 19, 2026 · by Your Apply Desk. We make one of the tools on this page; we say when another fits you better.
What's the best AI resume builder that's actually free?
Most "free" AI resume tools limit downloads, templates or AI use. Your Apply Desk keeps finding roles, matches and fit checks free and gives 15 free tailoring credits to start and 5 a month after that (one tailored resume or letter each). Kickresume's free plan has basic templates with unlimited downloads, Rezi's covers one resume with three PDF downloads, and Teal's covers unlimited resumes with limited AI.
