Alternatives
A Simplify alternative with free fit checks and tailoring
Checked October 19, 2026 · by Your Apply Desk. We make one of the tools on this page; we say when another fits you better.
What's a good alternative to Simplify?
Simplify's free Copilot is excellent at autofill and never submits for you. Your Apply Desk works the same way at the form (Penny fills it, you press Submit) and adds what comes before it: roles from employers' own careers sites, a free fit score, and a resume and cover letter written for each role from facts you confirmed.

What each tool is built for
Simplify is mainly a browser extension: it fills in applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and many other systems, tracks what you applied to, and suggests jobs.
Your Apply Desk finds open roles on employers' own careers sites, scores your fit for each one, and writes a resume and cover letter for the role using only facts you have confirmed. Its Chrome extension, Penny, fills in the application form; you check it and press Submit.
