Get to Know Your Team:   • UT Health Henderson features 41 operational beds, a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center with surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and an AASM-accredited sleep center. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Qualifications Job Requirements: • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) • Must maintain current Texas RN License . • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care • ACLS • PALS (within 90 days of hire) • Trauma Certification Course (TNCC, ATLS, TCAR within 1 year of hire) Preferred Job Requirements: • PACU, ICU, ER or other acceptable acute care experience The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
