Why Choose Novant Health: • Day-one medical, dental, and vision benefits • Flexible scheduling and generous paid time off to support work-life balance • Tuition support programs and career advancement opportunities, including specialty certifications • 6% retirement match and competitive total rewards package • Mental Health, well-being, telehealth, and therapy resources for you and your family Facility: NHRMC Ortho Hospital| Location: Wilmington, NC, Full-Time | Work Schedule: 3/12 HR Shifts Days or Nights What You'll Do • Provides advanced emergency and critical care to critically ill or injured patients during interfacility and specialized medical transports. • Monitors and manages patients requiring advanced life support, cardiac monitoring, and other critical care interventions. • Administers medications, performs advanced procedures, and supports airway and ventilatory management within scope of practice. • Continuously assesses patient condition and responds to changes during transport. • Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. • Operates and maintains emergency medical equipment while ensuring accurate patient care documentation and compliance with established protocols. What We're Looking For • Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. • Experience : Prefer at least one-year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level. • Licensure/Certification :North Carolina Paramedic certification (or eligible for reciprocity). BCLS, ACLS, PALS required. ITLS or PHTLS required within 90 days of hire. Current and valid driver's license and must the meet requirements of the Medical Center’s Insurance carrier.
