Infectious Disease Physician

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of infectious diseases • Provide evidence-based antimicrobial treatment and management • Evaluate patients with complex infections, unexplained fevers and other infectious disease conditions • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, specialists and other clinical professionals • Participate in Geisinger’s educational and quality improvement mission • Have opportunities to work with residents and medical students • MD or DO • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease • Completion of an Infectious Disease fellowship • Commitment to excellent patient care and safety • Strong communication and collaboration skills
