Registered Nurse (RN) Orthopedic Operating Room

About the Job *Open to experienced OR RNs with at least 1 year of experience Unit Highlights • Operating Room specializing in orthopedics and emergency general cases • Nationally recognized Orthopedics programs: The Curtis National Hand Center & MedStar Orthopaedic Institute • Dedicated centers for sports medicine, spine, hip & knee and foot & ankle • State-designated Hand & Upper Extremity Trauma Center (via Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems) Schedule • 40 hours per week plus call; five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week Qualifications • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required. • 1 year of RN experience required; 2 years of Operating Room (OR) RN experience strongly preferred; Orthopedic OR experience a plus. • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS preferred.
