Optician/Optometric Technician

Hidden Valley Eye Care, a growing family practice in Draper, UT, is seeking a full-time Optician to support our doctor and work closely with patients. Competitive pay based on experience. Responsibilities: • Use Electronic Medical Records to record exams, materials, etc. • Pre-test patients • Assist patients in selecting frames and provide spectacle lens packages/quotes • Take measurements to ensure correct lens fabrication • Teach new contact lens wearers insertion and removal techniques • Order and dispense contact lenses and spectacles • Adjust frames • Schedule appointments • Verify vision insurance and submit claims • Tag new inventory • Perform light cleaning • Provide exceptional customer service Qualifications: • Strong multi-tasking skills • Customer service oriented • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • ABO certification and optical experience are a plus but not required Additional Information: • This job description is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned.
