What You’ll Do • Lead the WMS conversion: Manage implementation from discovery and planning through testing, training, go-live, and stabilization, ensuring operational readiness across impacted locations. • Manage multiple initiatives: Lead business, IT, and operations projects, defining scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and measures of success. • Build projects from the ground up: Identify stakeholders, clarify business needs, and partner with Finance to develop business cases, evaluate costs and benefits, and establish project plans. • Influence and align stakeholders: Collaborate with SYGMA and Sysco leaders, IT, Operations, Finance, vendors, and executive sponsors to secure decisions, resolve obstacles, and maintain accountability. • Drive change and adoption: Coordinate communication, training, and implementation readiness to help teams adopt new systems and processes. • Support transportation modernization: Lead or support projects involving electronic logging devices, Samsara, routing software, and Roadnet/RNA conversions. • Support distribution network growth: Coordinate technology and operational requirements for new distribution centers, including system implementations, infrastructure, racking dependencies, and launch readiness. • Communicate results: Provide clear updates on progress, risks, budgets, and business outcomes, escalating decisions when needed and applying lessons learned to future projects. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree. • 7–10 years of experience leading WMS implementations and complex, cross-functional projects. • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization. • Experience supporting warehouse or distribution operations within a distributor, manufacturer, retailer, or similar organization. A background limited to third-party logistics (3PL) does not meet this role’s requirements. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a matrixed organization. • Strong change management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. • Confidence working with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and frontline operations. • Experience developing business cases, managing project budgets, and partnering with Finance. • A proactive, adaptable approach with strong follow-through and the ability to work independently. • Ability to travel up to 50%. Experience That Sets You Apart • Foodservice, food, or beverage distribution experience. • Experience implementing or converting to SWMS. • Transportation technology experience, including Samsara, electronic logging devices, Roadnet, RNA, or other routing platforms. • Experience opening a new distribution center or coordinating its technology, warehouse systems, infrastructure, or racking projects. • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Visio, or Power BI. PMP certification is not required. We are looking for demonstrated implementation expertise, strong business judgment, and the ability to deliver results
